Two surgeries and an invasive form of chemotherapy haven't stopped the disease from spreading.

“He is an inspiration to all of us.

I can probably count on one hand the number of times he has been down,” co-worker Joyce Robbins said.

It's Lawrence’s co-workers who arranged for his free Final Four tickets.

They also donated airline miles, hotel points and close to $1,000 in spending money.

Their constant support, however, is what means the most.

“That has really kept my spirits high and been instrumental with this dreaded disease,” Lawrence said.

It's the most difficult match-up of Lawrence’s life.

But he's optimistic he will win it.

“My attitude has always been I’ve always had this confidence in myself that someone's got to be the first to kick it,” he said.

That’s one prediction everyone hopes will come true.

Lawrence’s second is that it will be Florida and Georgetown Monday night, with the Gators taking it all.
