Our mom, Mary Jean "Nana" Walsh Connelly's journey ended here on earth Thursday, February 22, 2007, as the angels peacefully carried her on her journey to heaven.

She died from a form of cancer called Our mom fought her illness with an amazing will to live life one day at a time.

Her spirit and her power to pray her way through things were amazing.

She put everything in God's hands.

Her illness was never the focus; she took each day and embraced each moment.

She journeyed her way through a lot as well.

She even surprised her doctors as she took a 10-day trip to Iceland and a 28-hour train ride to East Glacier, Montana with her family.

She just kept living.

Our mom was born Aug.

15, 1932 to Luke and Eleanor Walsh.

She had Bob, who was a wonderful big broth...
